Collection of stories.
All of them mainly tell a tale of my two characters: Zalia and Aster. They're not appearing at the same places and times per se. But all of those stories take place in my fantasy world called Al'Tayah. Primarly on the continent of Lexonia.
Zalia is a young girl, going thru her life, living in the Academy (school of sol'o'mancy) under the "supervision" of Archguardianess Mercillia di Mirian. Learning about the world from the tomes, scrolls and specially assigned teachers. Fearless, evercurious kid, who - as you can expect - want to be the most powerfull mage in the world! But there is a lot of work before her, as well as some interesting abilities she has, that not many peaople know about, but could use some help in development.
Aster on the other hand is nearly a textbook example of a "lone wolf". After losing everything that mattered to him, he decidet to learn, but in a different way. He wanted to learn about himself and places around him. He learnt thru asking, helping, killing, nearly dying, killing again, reading... after years, he knew most of the beaast he can encounter and knew many of the plants surrounding at leats left coast of the Lexonia. He swore revenge on the Qua'ghali, race of
proto-humans that invaded his village, forcing him to live that kind of life.
The stories may not be strictly connected with each other and sometimes take place at the same time, but in different places; depending on the character.
Nora Walker, a psychic vampire, is conscripted into a task-force of supernatural legends that care more for themselves than the cataclysmic threat they face...
******
Nora revels in her parasitical ability to translate negative emotions into spell-casting energy. Pandemonium is her passion. All of her interactions are transactions. She grows more powerful and isolated with each day.
Until Chance Nightshade tricks her into joining a task-force prophesied to stop an enemy legion from annihilating the whole shadow world. And one of them threatens to warm her cold heart for good...
