Storm has been on the run since the very beginning. Over the years, she has gotten connections. Some connections are the Denali Coven, Olympic Coven, and the Uley pack in Forks, washington. 
Since being a Phoenix means resurrecting everytime you die she has gotten powers or gifts over the years. Her powers never left even when she started a new life. Storm has been around for over a millenia and over the years has gotten lonely.
