A man seeks escape in the wilderness, but the further he goes, the less the world makes sense. A storm rolls in, hunger grows, and something dark begins whispering from the trees. Shadows shift when he isn't looking. Time bends in ways it shouldn't. And something is watching-something ancient, something patient. By the time help arrives, reality itself has unraveled, leaving only emptiness... and a single blooming rose in the snow.

A poetry/short story collection of mine without any planned themes or direction.

There was nothing. A man slowly slips into the insanity of loneliness. Trapped forever in the desolate wasteland. He'd lost his way. Doesn't know where to go. Because, if he went anywhere at all, he would end up, still, in the deserted terrain of dirt. Blank canvas of land forms. He wonders if his group shall turn on him. His wife and conjoined twin daughters. He wonders if killing himself is the solution. But then the darkness of death would just be horrid, won't it?

After wondering the landscape he found himself in, Kai is faced with a decision after meeting a mysterious energy near a hidden portal, pass into that void, or stay in the now wasteland forever. ( This is the last book that will feature the main cast of The Hunter Saga. They may be mention's of the characters in future books.)

With every sunrise, she grows stronger, her spirit unyielding, her fists like stone. But when an unknown force disrupts the balance of her world, she is faced with a choice , hide in the shadows... or rise like the storm she was meant to be.
