Dolly O'Darlin and her friends are 14 years old when they first learn that those cheesy coming-of-age movies they watched growing up can't possible be true... right?

Now in their senior years attending Montgomery "Moneybags" High, a high school known all around the fictional town of Minnow Peak for being the hunting grounds of the richest and smartest across the globe, Dolly, Kenny and their friends have done their best to stay afloat and maintain their untouchable pedestals for the sake of leaving this small town and settling into a more peaceful life in the big city.
But when a new "poor" girl from said big city comes into town with her nerdy glasses and oversized sweater look, she begins threatening their peaceful lives with her stupid 'chick-flick leading lady' mentality and the fact that she forms a trio of friends to, and quote, "take down the populars" at school. it's gonna take a lot more than scuba gear to swim out of these rocky waters.
Let's just hope someone in our group has a license.
