Here's a brief tease from my Science Fiction novel "Outrunning Perdition" being co-written with my good friend Jamie Dodge...
Rex has led the men of the Citadel for fifty local years, since they were dropped on Sanctuary to prepare it for three waves of Settlers by Omniverse, a corporation selling settlements to people on Earth. The 500 men and 100 women, have been marooned. At fifteen the boys are exiled to the Palisades, to sink or swim on their own. But the men are getting old, and there are more and more boys who want what the Citadel has, including women.
When one of the girls from the Citadel escapes, it sets in motion a path, one side leads to war, one side leads to Reconciliation. Which will Rex choose?

But one vampire lord has a different plan for her future. He tracks her down and takes her captive. No matter how hopeless her situation, she never gives up, risking her life to regain her freedom. He forces her down, punishing her when her defiant spirit hinders his mission. It soon becomes clear that she's nothing like the human soldiers he's used to dealing with. A sense a guilt begins to grow whenever he upsets the girl who both fears and leans into him for protection. Julia and the vampire lord are connected in ways they had never known. Their lives become entangled, bringing them to make decisions they would've never thought possible. Extract from Chapter 1: He unsheathes his blade, and I suddenly wish that he'd go back to poking me. He's going to cut me while I can't move? To torture me? I start to panic again. "No, no, no." I yank on the restraints, and the rope bites into my skin. I pull and pull and try to shuffle away from him. He presses the blade against my neck, and I freeze. "Fearful," he says. I catch a glimpse of his freakishly long canines. The edge of the blade presses on my skin, just enough not to draw blood.Complete

There were three men in the group, one instantly stood out to me even with his back toward me. He had deep black hair and I could tell strong lean muscles were hidden beneath his button-up shirt. I falter in my steps a bit, something in my mind telling me to go another way, to ask someone else for help with directions. But I keep walking closer. Something else within me tells me it will be okay. As I get closer, the two men who were facing my direction look towards me and I stop, keeping a safe distance. Hopefully they are able to help me, and not turn me away just because I'm a human. "Hi, um, could you tell me where the front desk is?" The man whose back was facing towards me stiffened. "I think I'm a little..." The man turned toward me so quickly it made my heartbeat waver. His deep blue eyes pierced into my brown ones and called out to me. His jawline was chiseled to perfection, lips parted slightly in awe. Every feature of his face was meticulously handcrafted by God. I never thought I could find a wolf so elegant. He was...beautiful. Something in the air shifted. I could feel it in my bones. "...lost," I finished my sentence after a brief pause. No one answered me. Did I say something wrong? I look between the three of them and see that the two men behind the man who was staring so intently at me were looking between me and him. "Mate."

Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. (This is not based on The 100 but there are similarities.) (Some violent themes, but other than that is entirely clean.) Please comment if you have any questions or concerns. Jamie Dale - The Eleven Kingdoms
This is a full length novel I wrote between the years of 2014-2017, my writing style has been all over the place through those years since I started writing it since I was 15 and ended it when I was 18. I wanted to show the story to the world but I know it isn't good enough to be properly published since there is plenty of spelling errors and for some reason 15 year old me was trying to write as edgy as possible. So my outlook on how this story is as changed I think it's very mediocre as I am now and kinda of just wanted it to end. However I still kinda want people to read it or at least get some satisfaction from it so I'm posting it. Demons, Angels, and Aliens what do they all have in common? They're all apart of Jamie Dale's life and as he looks upon the cliff wanting to jump he writes down the events that unfolded that lead him to that cliff.Complete

The DOOM Slayer embarks on a mission to retrieve Samuel Hayden, a chairman in charge of projects to harvest energy from hell. They got separated after traveling through a portal that would seemingly take them home and ended up teleporting them to Master Chief's universe. Through several battles and meetings with faces old and new, the two warriors must team up against armies of aliens and save Hayden before more lives are taken. This is inspired by Secret Level, an anthology video game series from the people who made Love, Death, and Robots. There was a confirmed decline by Microsoft to the studio to approve this type of episode, and not much is known about it, so I wrote a screenplay to see what could've happened. I took it from my portfolio and wanted to post it here just because. I left easter eggs and put these two in situations not seen before in video games and/or tv explicitly. Hope you enjoy it!Complete
