The god of the ocean, Shui Liliang, one day fell in love with a flower cultivator, Hua Meili. Unfortunately this stout little flower didn't like him and Shui was rejected, but that only made Shui more determined to pursue his mountain flower.
Hua Meili, was attacked by an annoying ocean god that had foolishly proclaimed to love him and wants to marry him. Hua disgusted by the thought of marrying refuses and goes to cultivate on his mountain, but the ocean god also refuses to give up and comes to pester him every day with marriage gifts and proposals. Angered, Hua vows to never fall in love, "I, Hua will never marry!"
