"Gowri, run away with me", said Anand.
"What!" exclaimed Gowri.
"We can't live here with both your family and mine, lets run away", he said.
"And?" she asked.
"We will go some place far, we both will work and earn, we could rent a small house, buy a tiny car" he said looking into her eyes.
"Then?" she asked hugging him tightly, enjoying his warmth.
"I will fill your belly with my children, they will drink your milk and sleep in my arms", he murmured against her lips.
She looked into his eyes to confirm if he meant it, he did.
"Since when did you think about that?" she asked.
"Since we were together" he replied.

Gowri was called back to her ancestral village of Kaniyankara by her grandfather to arrange a marriage for her. In the caste, money and power driven battle raging between her family, Kalarikkal, and the richest family in the village, Paarakkal, she finds herself tossed along with Anand Paarakkal. Will they find peace and happiness or does fate have something else in store for them?
