Mature
Ryle is 17 and can't get over his twin brother's death. He's about to start his senior year and the only thing that's keeping him sane is his best friend Amira. Ever since Jeremiah's death, he's been having a hard time caring about things like his grades and college (much to his parents' dismay).

Conrad just moved to Ohio and is about to start at his new school, Columbus Public High School. His parents decided to move after the bullying at his old school became too much for them. He's been bullied ever since sophomore year when he came out as gay.

Amira is a muslim girl with super strict parents. She's proud to be wearing the hijab and doesn't give anyone the opportunity to bully her or make fun of her, and if they did, then they'll be very sorry. She learned that having a strong personality is the only thing that will get her through high school.

As Ryle and Amira's friendship gets stronger every day, they meet Conrad and teach him how to protect himself from people like Jace and Cole, the biggest bullies at their school.

Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd) Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
