Wingless Bones: The Life of Sauriel, Former Angel

In her opinion, there were worse things to be than an ethereal extension of divine retribution residing in Buffalo, New York. At least, that's what she keeps telling herself. After being the first angel cast from Heaven in several million years, Sauriel struggles with finding her place in the human world while adapting to a new form of divinity, but with the loss of Heaven and her wings triggering a breakdown of her very essence, she must decide whether giving up the expectations of Heaven was worth the resulting pain.
