Love is complicated and depressing ever since the upside down nothing's been the same. Steve been depressed after the season 4 events and he tries to find happiness but all there is sadness. There's going to be an unexpected twist with the upside down involved with someone coming back who's supposed to be dead but alive and what's the mystery of their return.

P.S Max is still in a coma but will wake up soon in the story and Vecna was thought to be killed by Elven by everyone but miraculously survived some how. Another thing in this au the government people who were after Elven got killed by Vecna. Lets see how that connects to everything to the story.

Eleven visits the hospital everyday (along with other members in the party), trying to go into Max's mind and find her best friend. Everyday is the same result: Max is nowehere to be found and absolute darkness takes over her mind. Until one day, right before Eleven is about to give up on connecting with her friend's mind...she makes a connection. Out of a glimmer of hope, Eleven reaches out and connects with a piece of Max's mind...or rather, a memory in Max's mind. Now, the party must figure out how to get their friend back by traveling through Max's memories. Steve and Nancy have known each other for years, they used to date (As everyone knows) but they broke up when Nancy fell for Jonathan Byers. But what happens after jonathan and Nancy break up? With Jonathan in California and Nancy in Hawkins, it was getting hard so they decided to break up. then Nancy is taken into a trance by Vecna and the only person who can save her, is steve. (WARNING- I WROTE THIS A WHILE AGO AND IDK WTF I WAS DOING SO THE WRITING IS PROBABLY REALLY BAD, AND THE BOOK IS PROBABLY CRINGY. IDK WHY PEOPLE STILL READ IT. This book takes place Just after season 4 volume one ends... *SPOILERS AHEAD* so right after nancy got stuck in the upside down, being in a trance caused by Vecna.. I would highly recomend watching season 4 volume one before reading it because it will have some major spoilers most likely.

Throughout it all, Y/n forms strong friendships, and even finds love in the jerk turned babysitter Steve Harrington. But will Y/n and her friends survive? Or will some of them fall to these villainous creatures? Note: The story is only complete for the time being. I will continue editing it once the fifth and final season comes out.
