Mercedes Varnado, formerly known as 'Sasha Banks' wasn't really appreciated or used very well in WWE. since being released. She's been looking elsewhere to put her talents on the mic and in the ring to good use. And in AEW, she may have found it. As she's been in touch with Daniel Robert Boyce a former WWE superstar himself, and childhood friend of hers, he tells her that AEW is always looking for a great female talent like her. And he's sure she'll fit in with all the other great talents in AEW's women's division.
A week after she debuts, she's paired up with Daniel's Joker and what started out as a friendship on camera, turns into something more off camera.
