Post-AYITL. Rory suffers something tragic and ends up taking Logan's offer to go to Maine. Mending the soul and heart, discovering long forgotten secrets, making new friends and overcoming obstacles. AN: This story deals with the aftermath of the AYITL New Hampshire event. Lorelai and Luke already on their honeymoon but Rory didn't tell Lorelai about being pregnant, conversation with Christopher never happened. Emily sold the Hartford house and Rory has just barely begun writing her book. Strong language intended minimally, mature rating due to some more intimate scenes. I do not own Gilmore Girls nor the original characters.

Logan told Rory goodbye at her graduation, and he meant it. Didn't he? She wouldn't compromise for him so he couldn't for her in the end. He moved to California, and she hit the campaign trail. Their lives moved in separate directions, and they worked hard to get over each other. But what if their lives take them back in the same direction again? Can they fight the attraction that has always been there? Can they look past all the hurt and finally realize what they could have together? Will they let fate dictate their lives or will they find out that it's something other than fate that is pushing them together?
