Lily is thrust into a battle she didn't know existed. She came from an old line of decsendants, who fought in a war waged against tree worshipers. A tree gave life and prosperity to those around it. One day an evil man, obsessed with the notion of power, stole the tree's life force and grew into the roots of the old oak. Anyone who ate from the tree's bountiful fruit fell prey to the wickedness and temptations of the world. Lily's family stood against the tree worshipers, known as Masamas. The war waged on until Lily was born. Her parents wanted to protect her so they gave her up. She is forced to take up arms when she is almost kidnapped by a Masama. Now it's all she can do to survive and stay pure against the tree's powerful influence.
