Cassie, a relatively normal school girl struggling to deal with family problems, school work never and her non-existent social life, comes home one day to find a shadow manipulating THING in her room, as you do...
To Cassie's disappointment, the shadow creature will haunt her till it completes it's penance for a crime it is unaware of committing. Cassie decides to name her new "pet" Sam and tries to figure out where it came from so it could leave as soon as possible. More problems arise as her social life suddenly bursts into life and her family slowly breaks apart. The more time Cassie spends trying to help Sam, the worse her environment's become.
Can she pull it off? Probably not, but it will be funny to see her try.
