Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste have been fighting side by side as the Miraculous Ladybug and Charming Cat Noir for almost three years now. After an uneventful summer, they are both in their senior year of high school and have kept their promise to keep their identities a secret until they defeat Hawkmoth. Hawkmoth has grown more determined and unhinged than before, but is remaining stealthy. As his biggest defeat yet has made him more calculated than he has ever been, and the race is on for who will reveal the other first. On top of the pressure to reveal their enemy's alternate identity, the duo's feelings for THEIR alternate identities have grown as well. Time is running out for our heroes to declare their feelings, and to defeat their enemy. Fate seems to have grown impatient and seems to start throwing everything they have been avoiding at them all at once. With the stakes higher than ever, will they succeed and finally get their happy ever after? Or have they risked too much?
