At age fourteen Jamie Thayer realised she didn't like herself, but it wasn't how most girls didn't like themselves. It wasn't become of hair, clothes, acne, size, it was because of gender. So at age fourteen Jamie turns into James Thayer.
Now James is entering High-School and life isn't being to easy on him. After he becomes revealed to the whole school that he's transgender, a lot of his friends are lost. But there are the ones who are with him through thick and thin, so James is thinking High-School might just fly by, then he'll be out of it. After entering tenth grade, the bullying decreases- a little- and he's becoming more of an open person about who he really is, that is until, a new girl comes to school. A new, really pretty, girl. That makes James terrified to tell her, who he really is. Who he really was.

Before you read this you should probably reconsider since the plot is cliche in the worst way possible, some scenes are hard to follow and lets not mention the multitude of spelling errors and grammatical mistakes. I stay invisible to everyone except my best friend Jessica Fawk; no one in the school even knows that I am the sister of the school football team's captain. Then one day when I come home I discover something I never thought I would encounter. I decide that the bullying has to stop. Jessica and I change completely, from the nerds to the most popular girls in school. We learn to defend ourselves, how to be confident and we never let anyone step on us anymore. They're both in high school, obviously. They don't really look alike, I mean they do, but they aren't like, identical, different genders, you know.. Anyways, Charlotte switched schools because her family had to move, so now she is known as the new girl, same goes for Charlie, the new guy. Charlotte meets this really nice guy, Nate. Nate has this best friend who is the biggest jerk in school, school's player, bad boy, Aiden Throns. Nate tells Aiden that he really likes Charlotte. Aiden and Nate are like brothers, I mean, Nate was adopted by Aiden's parents, so Aiden cares about him, like he is his biological brother. Aiden thinks that Charlotte is using Nate for his brain, because Nate is a super smart guy, knowing Charlotte, she had a brain tumor, so she isn't the brightest/smartest. Aiden will do anything for Nate, so he decides that he is going to make Charlotte fall in love with him. Does he accomplish that? Will she fall in love with him, the bad boy? - Ok, ok. I think I've dropped enough hints about the fact that I'm 'different'. I guess I should spill the beans. When I was born, I had a rare cancer- mum had told me this. She didn't tell me anything else about my birth, other than that the kemo therapy went wrong. The doctors were testing a new serum that didn't cooperate with my blood type. It did cure the cancer, but it had a side effect. The serum made my bones and muscles shrink down to about a tenth of their original size. I'm very small for my age, I have to say.
