In which two souls in mourning find each other a second time, connected by a bond they both share with another. Newt Scamander knows, better than anyone, that two of the most important people in his life are suffering.
His best friend, a young witch by the name of Rooney Keros, holds a deep secret as she mourns the loss of her family, slaughtered by Grindelwald's most dangerous Acolytes. He knows that she craves Vinda Rosier's blood almost as much as she craves to be truly reunited with her family.
His older brother, one of the most acclaimed aurors of the wizarding world, Theseus Scamander, still struggles to cope with the loss of his fiancé Leta in the battle of the Graveyard, several years prior. He knows that he longs to capture Grindelwald and enact revenge for the ruthless murder.
His best friend has been missing for over a year now, and his brother is starting to hide his feelings from Newt. Perhaps it is luck, that by chance, one Albus Dumbledore has summoned the magizoologist to Hogwarts once more; a new mission to be issued.

COMPLETED- Theseus Scamander. Everybody knows him. The war hero, the head auror. If you haven't met him, you certainly have heard the grand stories of a courageous hero. But for y/n, she knew of him a different way... Theseus Scamander was the reason y/n ended up in a frigid interrogation room looking at 3 years in Azkaban. The reader has a choice: Either be sent to Azkaban for three years or assist a team of uptight aurors in finding Grindelwald. And of course, Azkaban wasn't looking the greatest. As they solve incredible mysteries and accidentally start danger-filled adventures, the reader and Theseus embark on a wild hunt for Grindelwald and his followers that leads from their begrudging partnership to eventual friendship, and maybe even (definitely) something more. Theseus x Female! Reader {mild profanity} Hope you guys like it! It's one of my favorite things I've written. The description truly doesn't do my story justice. Theseus Scamander is the Auror called onto the scene when he discovers that the woman is an old classmate of his, Tyne Ayers. Her skin is marked with scars and burns and yet, she refuses to speak, and the only indicator they have towards any answers, is the coat of a seal lying at her feet. Knowing the ways of the Selkie, Theseus collects her coat and by doing so, Tyne is bound to follow him. She is placed under his care, however, Theseus takes it upon himself to call upon his younger brother for help. Newt Scamander has never been known for his communication skills, but under the circumstances, Theseus believes his brother is the best person for the job. However, the timing couldn't be worse, as the events surrounding Grindelwald drama continue to unfold, roping both brothers in. Meanwhile, Dumbledore attempts to restore safety to Hogwarts as students are found dead, one by one, and rumours spread of the Chamber of Secrets being opened. (This is an edited, more polished version of my original Fantastic Beasts 3 book. I've changed the plot a lot but it follows a similar storyline as my previous fan-fiction.
