Heather Fitzpatrick doesn't believe in heroes.

Not the kind that swing through Queens in red and blue, collecting applause for saving the day. Heroes are distractions. And Spider-Man? He's the worst of them-good for headlines, useless for the neighborhoods that need him most. Like Brooklyn.

That's her territory. Under the mask of Maverick, Heather keeps her streets safe in ways no one else will: fists first, questions later, and with no illusions about right and wrong. She doesn't care if people call her a menace or a vigilante-so long as the innocent can sleep without fear.

But when alien-tech weapons hit New York's streets-pulsing with energy, powerful enough to level buildings-Heather realizes she's out of her depth. These aren't petty gangs or small-time criminals; it's organized, lethal, and spreading fast. Worse? Spider-Man shows up.
