Ava Hebert and Hannah Taylor are on the Bolton Honey Badgers girls' lacrosse team. Their boyfriends, Luke Gordon and Dylan Thomson are on the boys' team. All is well, both teams have winning streaks until the rival high school, Mortimer Manta Rays, goes up against them, breaking their record. The schools have decided there will be game before prom between the two, a girls and a boys game. The Manta Rays do prank after prank, spread rumor after rumor, causing lots of struggles in Ava and Luke's relationship, and Ava and Hannah's friendship. It all goes down to the pre prom game......who will win?
