She was a witch before she was a wife, mother, and cruel woman.

"You failed as a mother; I failed as a son. Can you sit here truthfully, and say you love me? Look in my eyes, and say that you love me despite it all? Say it and I will know it all meant something." Sirius practically begged, his voice choked with emotion.

"Please?" he pleaded, tears welling up in his eyes.

At that moment, as she looked at him, all she saw was a little boy. She saw her little boy, with tears in his eyes, asking to be picked up, waiting for her to bend down and lift him into her arms.

Like a kicked dog returning to its owner, they sought love despite the pain they inflicted on each other. Yet, the cycle persisted, leaving them both yearning for a love that seemed just out of reach.

Born into the prestigious and feared House of Black, Cassiopeia Walburga Black is not just the eldest daughter of Walburga and Orion-she is their first heir. From the moment of her birth, Cassiopeia is trapped under the crushing weight of her family's dark legacy, forced to embody the pure-blood ideals of an ancient, unforgiving lineage. Within the cold, shadowed halls of Grimmauld Place, her childhood is anything but innocent. Taught advanced magic beyond her years and molded by her father's obsession with dark magic, Cassiopeia grows up in an environment that offers neither warmth nor love. Her parents, publicly poised and superior, are privately cruel and demanding, shaping her into a tool for the Black family's ambitions. While other children dream of freedom, Cassiopeia's world is one of strict obedience, wandless magic drills, and relentless expectations. As her parents' cold hands guide her every step, Cassiopeia begins to realize that her greatest battle may not be against the darkness of the magical world-but against the darkness that has taken root within her own home. A tale of trauma, power, and survival, this story delves into the shadowed life of a child born into a family where love is a luxury, and power is everything. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marauders era Being updated regularly First book in the duology (I do not own any Harry Potter original characters or plots. Now forced into a sub-alliance within the Order of the Phoenix, Sirius Black and Hogwarts Headmaster Severus Snape are living with their wives Colleen and Rhiannon in a charming house in coastal Scotland. Also in their makeshift family are Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks, and Ben Black, boy wizard and son of Sirius's Muggle bride. As the Second Wizarding War with Rhiannon's father Lord Voldemort escalates into a fervor, so do the dynamics within the house. Can Sirius and Severus set aside their decades-long hatred for one another to protect and secure their future? Book Three of The Wizarding World Romance series. This story runs parallel to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. ***While I will do my best to make this book stand alone, for the best understanding of the characters and their journeys so far, you'll want to check out my other books, "Within the Wings of a Storm" (OOTP) and "Black as Night" (HBP). Reading the last few chapters of "Black as Night" (starting with "Wonderwall") will at least get you up to speed on the alliance itself. Reading all of "Black as Night" first is even better...and fun! :) ***This book is rated MATURE for smut. PLEASE heed chapter warnings. This book ventures into some...ahem...kinky territory. Enjoy, and please remember to vote and comment! I really love and appreciate your feedback. 🗳💕 ***I made an aesthetic board on Pinterest for Within the Wings of a Storm/Black As Night/Soon All the Suns Will Rise...aka the Wizarding World Romance series. I love it so much! Such good vibes and it's just so pretty. Everyone saw me as perfect, I always had been my whole life. I was Regulus Black, I was raised to be perfect. I was everything that my parents wanted me to be. Pureblood, Slytherin, and the opposite of my brother. My brother was Sirius Black, known as the heart throb of Hogwarts. My parents hated him. He had been sorted into Gryffindor. He had been set free. I have always been jealous of him, he isn't stuck being controlled. He has forgotten about me, moved on completely. He once promised me that we would both escape together, but he broke it. How could I forgive him for that? He ran away over the summer and left me there. "Sorry." I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard that oh so beautiful voice. "Sorry Marisa, I didn't mean to bump into you!" Some random kid who I didn't know exclaimed. "It was my fault, I should have been more careful." Marisa smiled. My heart skipped a beat at the sight of it. Marisa was a Hufflepuff, and she was one of the most popular girls in the school. She was in the year just above me. She was another one of Sirius' friends. She is also the girl I've had a crush on since third year, but I've never even spoken to her.
