When she escaped this lab in Hawkins Indiana, when she was only 9 years old, Dustin's mom found her and adopted her. Made her a Henderson. When her brother was 10, she showed him something that she didn't like using but she didn't want to keep her secret from him. He was her brother.
Y/n met Steve Harrington when they were 14 and in 8th grade, ever since they were inseparable. All though, once they reached 10th grade they became friends with Tommy and Carol. Y/n didn't like them, they were rude, disrespectful, and disgusting. But Steve was friends with them so she was to.
But that year Steve changed and became the king or Hawkins high. They stayed friends of course. Y/n just didn't agree with him all the time. Junior year Steve started dating Nancy Wheeler. Y/n was jealous but she respected his Decision. But of course she never stoped liking him. Will they grow apart or will they get closer?

Lisa Henderson didn't like Steve Harrington. Not at all. They were best friends as kids and now they didn't talk, and Lisa was content in forgetting about his existence which was easy since they didn't have the same friends. That was until he started dating her best friend, Nancy Wheeler. Trying to adapt to his unwelcome return into her life, as well as trying to stay out of whatever her brother Dustin and his friends were secretly up to was no easy feat, especially when literal monsters were thrown into the mix. Lucy Harrington wasn't much like her brother; she was dorky and she was nerdy and she was unpopular and she continuously tripped up on her own feet. She only really had two friends; Josette Holland and Will Byers. She got high grades in all her classes, her favorites being English and Science. She spent a lot of her free time writing the Essays that her brother payed her to work on, the rest spent at the arcade with Josette or drawing with Will. She didn't mind though, Steve said that it helped him out, plus she got money for it that she could spend at the arcade and on candy. She did, however, miss spending time with her older brother. They spent a majority of their time together. That was at least until Steve fell in with Tommy Hagan and Carol Perkins. Now all they did together was sleep in the same house, and that was only on occasion. Steve refused to be seen with the clumsy middle schooler that was Lucy Harrington in public for longer that he forcibly had to. Even when Steve was home and not out with his friends, he acted like Lucy wasn't there. When she was thirteen she went camping with her father and they both went missing for nearly two weeks until Emilie was found barely alive with deep wounds from an unknown origin and her father was found with his eyes caved in and his bones cracked. She was in a coma for thirteen weeks when she came back she had no memory of what happened. Doctors said the trauma was so great that the young girl blocked it out. But ever since then, she kept having nightmares of a place. Like this world but cold and dark. She lived with the Byers as she became friends with Jonathan and was like a daughter to Joyce until her brother and mother were able to move to Hawkins with her due to complications. She's now known at the traumatized girl of Hawkins High with the freak brother, yet somehow she is Steve "The Hair" Harrington's best friend albeit their relationship has gotten rocky. She deals with normal things along with her nightmares and trauma-school, bullies, insecurities, and being in love with her best friend.
