This is a Merlin x Arthur fan fiction. I will be including some fluff and smut, but I dislike putting warnings on the episodes as I dont want to spoil the content of the chapter. So if you aren't interested then please dont read altogether.
Arthur is dying by the lake in the last episode of season 5. Although he doesnt die, Merlin manages to save him with his great powers.
I personally felt as though Arthur should know how much Merlin has done for him, and find out things he wasnt aware of at all, so Arthur and Merlin have a lot to discuss as arthur grows curious. Merlin will take Arthur through all the times he wasnt aware of Merlin using magic to help, he will show how much he has done for his king. Meanwhile, Arthur finds himself viewing Merlin in a new light romantically....he battles with his thoughts until he comes clean to Merlin one night.

I got the inspiration for this story from a similar oneshot on Fanfiction.net by Aeon The Dimensional Girl if the user wishes for me to take this one down I will, however I will point out that I expanded on the concept and definitely made it my own.
