From the Ashes: Firebird Rising

Everett Coombs is a low class thief who really isn't a thief. He is very wealthy and pickpockets for the hell of it. His lover Malcolm Danvers is a homicide detective who cleans up the petty theft as long as he knows about them.

One night, one of Everett's clubs is targeted, and a body is slain after hours. After the initial shock, a series of murders happens in other bars, including Everett's other two clubs. All evidence points back to Everett and a past he can't remember.

But what if that past shows things that no one ever thought would exist in this time. In a world where the things that go bump in the night actually make sure the human world is safe, this could be life altering, especially for the person who doesn't remember.
