Long ago, thousands of years in fact, there was an evil demon.

The demon was greedy and wanted nothing but to steal all things valuable and pretty.

Long ago, thousands of years in fact, there was a beautiful Angel.

The demon wanted the Angel to himself. And they were enemies, the Angel fighting back. Eventually, they were turned into swords to prevent war, both dormant. The dark sword, Katsuki, was never found.

The light sword, Izuku, was worshipped in a temple and guarded against the dark sword. 

Anyone who wields the dark sword is corrupted and supposed to destroy the light sword, freeing the demon.





Or so they say anyways...
