Renjiro is a famous Kabuki actor from the red light district in Yoshiwara, Japan. He attracts men and women alike who desire his love. Renjiro does not love his admirers, for he sees Kabuki as his true love. That changes when he meets Yoshitiro, a powerful and handsome samurai. 

Yoshitiro Shimadzu is considered the best and most skilled samurai of the Shimadzu Clan. He is also a man who never hid his true interests. When he meets Renjiro, his interest slowly changes to a feeling he never thought he would feel. 

Their interests and feelings begin a forbidden romance since their professions require their hearts and souls. Will they be together, or will duty overcome them?
