The year was 2088, the year it all ended. Our lives, our homes, our very planet was devastated in a cataclysmic event known as the Great Shattering. The only ones who lived to tell the tale were those saved by an enigmatic force known as the Conglomerate. They appeared from the shadows, their technology and power unmatched, rescuing the remnants of humanity from the brink of extinction. In gratitude, we serve them-mind, body, and soul.

Now, 200 years later, we still revere the Four Princes, the mysterious leaders of the Conglomerate. It is 2288, the 200th anniversary of the Great Shattering, and whispers of rebellion begin to stir. As the dark secrets of our saviors start to unravel, we must confront a chilling question: what did we truly sacrifice for our survival?

                                Pledge Of Faith
Hail the Conglomerate, for they are our saviors! We pledge our souls, our lives, and our afterlives to their divine will. For the Four Princes, we offer our unwavering devotion:

To the Prince of Prosperity, we surrender our wealth and labor for the betterment of mankind.

To the Prince of Dreams, we relinquish our desires and aspirations for the glory of mankind.

To the Prince of Tranquility, we sacrifice our voices and resolutions for the peace of mankind.

To the Prince of Safeguard, we offer our very lives and spirits for the protection of mankind.

Hail the Conglomerate! They delivered us from the abyss and continue to guide us back to the light that was torn from our grasp. Hail the Four Princes, the halos of purity, and most of all, hail the Conglomerate, our eternal guardians and masters!

Mother once told me before she was banished, "You have to be strong, My Love. You will face great challenges but you have be brave and never truly forget what is important. You may have to make sacrifices but above all cherish your brother, he is only trying to look out for you." At that time she said those words, I didn't understand what she was talking about. But now I realized the lore of everything I taught and knew is not at all what it seems... It wasn't until after everything happened that I found and saved a human that I soon realized what was happening. But that human, Seivon Rivers, I promised to find again, but unfortunately I never saw him again... Yet he stole an important part of me that day I saved him. Empire. At the end only Empire remains. No matter how many times you rebel Empire remains. No matter how many times you fight for your democratic Empire remains. Now bend for your emperorr. Welcome readers to my fantasy world. I have brought you something beyond the constraints of my imagination, and I wonder if many are ready for it; however, a good story must be told, and I am fortunate to be the one to tell it. Imagine a world where the vile nature of mankind creeps its ugly head as humanity faces its first and last major catastrophe. The world plunged into everlasting darkness, entrenched in chaos and disorder, where hope is a distant flitting memory. The story I propose to my fellow readers follows Anthony Verdun, who was only a boy when all he knew was taken from him in an instant. Like many others, on that day, those who survived lost a part of themselves, forever scarred by the family, friends, and loved ones they lost. Their lives changed forever; how could it not? I welcome you to join the world I have created, indulge in this hypothetical, and dive into this what-if. What that is, well, you would have to read to find out. Hello there, remember me? The girl who faced probably every catastrophe ever to happen; I mean if I lost my sanity I have a perfect excuse. Probably excuses too; big foots for one, then doomsday, then my damn alter ego. Have I mentioned the bizarre dreams of a blue eyed dazzling guy are haunting me? What if I tell you that my last adventure is the most absurd one of all? I mean it is one thing to lie about your past love life and another to lie about the damn past of an entire planet. Am I right? Little have I known about Casus; little have I known about anything. Everyone is keeping secrets that are revealed now. Ones enough to make me go to the loony house; I mean what on earth drove, probably everyone I know to lie. You and I are gonna find out now. XOXO, Alex Saviyer
