Our eyes met, and my pulse soared. The world narrowed to a single, thrilling possibility. Each whispered word, every tender touch, pulled me under his spell. I was lost, and I knew it. The hug that changed everything became our sanctuary, our haven. Yet, shadows of doubt crept in, taunting me. Had I transformed the untouchable heartthrob or merely become a stepping stone? Barry's life
Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued

There isn't love strung up on the walls like paintings here, it's dull and hard to find, and once you dig deep enough to find it, you see it was all fake gold anyways. We tumble together in some ugly abyss hoping to find God, hoping to never see each other again. To Warm Frozen Fingers // A Short Story Collection
I like to write. As you may be able to tell. I haven't been very good at writing lately. As you may also have been able to tell. That's why I've decided to write a short story collection. The stories won't interlink, some may vary wildly and you might even wonder if they were written by the same person (the answer is yes). Overall, I'm aiming to write 23 stories, which was one per day for 23 days but I failed at that (*seethes* college work...) so now I'm just aiming to finish it before winter is over! The stories won't be very long - I'm only allowed to write for 10 minutes per story, just to get me going again (and literally warm my fingers, I get really really cold fingers for some reason) and the most I've ever written in that time is around 500 words.
