Marian had just started writing in a diary. If you asked her five years ago or even 10 years ago if she would someday consider having and owning one, she would have laughed at your face. She was not a fan of it nor she would have ever taken any thoughts on having one, for her, it was just a waste of time, a waste of resources, and a waste of energy. But now she owns one, it was an old notebook given by a friend who insisted that she writes; an old brown cover, spine red as blood, pages were smooth and unused, letters C and J were on the covers as a reminder of whom the notebook used to belong. Now, she was forced to write her feelings out.

[SKY SERIES 4] To him, Imari is the most honest soul he'd ever known-steady, kind, real. But that illusion was never the truth. Beneath her gentle smiles and half-spoken truths, Imari has always carried feelings she could never voice. After years apart, they find their way back into each other's lives, dancing carefully around what they both know but won't admit. Subtle glances, half-held touches, and careful conversations fill the silence where love should be. They tell themselves they're just friends. But they never were. Now, as Imari silently struggles under the weight of personal pain, and he continues to carry the wreckage of his own past, the question lingers: What happens when two broken people stop pretending and finally face the truth they've both been running from? TRIGGER WARNING: depression, abuse, and self-harm are mentioned in this story. Read at your own risk!!
