After "defeating" Vecna, you (Y/N Y/L/N) lost your closest friend or maybe more. You were 19 at the time, it's been three years since then. You're now 21. You and Dustin have been hanging out more often still heart-broken and completely damaged from his death. You and Dustin stupidly decide to enter the upside down as a joke cause you think it's "dead" and find out Eddie was still around there.
Since the upside down is stuck in 1983, he never grew up so he's basically still 20.
