I'm sure you all have heard about Persephone and Hades. Well this story is a remake except different. Persephone was tired of people only thinking she was a pretty face who only knew how to plant things. Her parents were never there for her and she wanted to change for herself. She changed from pretty preppy girly girl into sexy bad ass scene rocker. Persephone changed and then came back home. Now that's she's back will everythign be okay? Will there be problems ? Or will she finally be happy? What is it that she ends up wanting? Will she get it? Will Persephone get what she wants?

A few of her classmates also happen to represent the gods and goddesses from popular Greek myths, and the fact that all of them are present means that something monumental is about to happen. Something like being the girl to change Persephone's future, to break the cycle of kidnapper and victim - all by passing a trial. It won't be simple, she knows, and she's not quite that eager to take it up, but from the moment she found out that she was Persephone, there was no way to back out. She should've known, however, that dealing with all powerful, immortal deities wasn't going to be easy. They've got a few secrets and personality flaws up their sleeves, and they could be deadly. Persephone, goddess of spring, so bright and energetic Hades, god of the underworld, lacking exactly that... What happens when circumstances make them meet? What happens when they find their lives bound together suddenly? ∆∆ Okay okay I know the original myth is kinda problematic but I changed it up a little. No real kidnapping, no forced relationship and so forth Hades is just a nice guy with maybe some difficult friends and Persephone is anything but a damsel in distress. Really, it wasn't planned that way but its become a soft, delicate love story And I made it gay of course, everyone is GAY happy ending ? Hades and Persephone is a story that has so many different sides to it. Some people romanticize their relationship (often without taking into account certain aspects of the myth) while others insist that Hades was nothing but perverse and awful... even though taking Persephone, after having her father's permission, was quite normal for the time! This is a retelling of the ancient myth, with all the ancient components to it. I researched the story from many different sources and tried to make it as accurate as possible. The only writer's license was the amount of time she spent in the Underworld before Hermes came-- I never found an exact number, so I wrote it as six months, partly so that they had time to truly fall for each other, partly so that she would return to the mortal realm immediately after being returned to Demeter. Persephone is a character who understands the place goddesses and women have in the world, understands the normalcy of her capture, but still struggles with feeling like it's unjust. Hades is a god with few romantic relationships in his past (Leuce and Minthe) who hadn't fallen for anyone for a while and wasn't quite sure how to treat a goddess in a realm he never visited.
