Steve's jelousy over Dustin's new friend doesn't turn out how he expected. When he ends up stuck with the new guy, Eddie Munson, they wind up having a pretty good friendship. Not knowing how, Steve grows to like the new guy and is confused as to why he sees this as something more than friendship.
Eddie's new favorite in the Hellfire Club, Dustin Henderson, leads him through a world he has never seen, after he was accussed of murder. The world he now has to live in has been lite up by the most popular guy he knew, Steve Harrington. He has always thought Steve was interesting but ddin't realize how cool he was till now. He might even like the guy.

Steve(21) Hasn't had a chance to leave this awful place. He has stayed around for the kids, wanting nothing more to be there for each one's graduation. Confused. Lonely. Depression has really started to hit in the last couple of years after all of the tragic losses to the upsidedown. Nearly losing everything and everyone he's cared for and loved. Most everyone has gotten their chance to escape, Nancy and Jonathan moved to California after graduation. Robin's off at college. Until he realizes maybe he's not so alone here, sparking a true friendship with the most unlikely person, Eddie Munson. Eddie(22) hasn't been able to get out of this town either after swearing he would get the hell out of here many years ago. The kids are all graduating this year, which will most likely end up giving the two now men, no reason to stick around anymore. But what will happen to the two friends when Steve realizes the feelings he's thought for so long to just be a platonic friendship have always been a little more?
