    This story takes place far from the forest and lake territories of the Thunder, River, Wind, Shadow, and Sky clans, in the outskirts of a city which four clans call home. 
    These clans, known as BushClan, MarshClan, RustClan, and PondClan, put their clans before the others in order to survive, but they must live within the bounds that their ancestors in StarClan have set for them, known as the Warrior Code. 
    
    Asterpaw is an apprentice in Bushclan doing what she can for her clan, and believes in a strict adherence to the warrior code.
    Copperpaw just became an apprentice in RustClan, and now he can't wait to be a warrior.
