just like the moon, half my heart will always love the dark. Rowan Quinn has always been a mystery-a flawless diamond in the pureblood world, admired by everyone and understood by no one. Her beauty, her brilliance, it all had seemed too perfect, too precise. No one knew why, why she seems untouched by the politics and games that bind others. But she's was hiding something-something even she fording even know. And it was only a matter of time before fates crossed and Mattheo Riddle had started to cross her everyday path, leaving only a matter of time before the two are entangled in a game of power, danger, and dark magic and questioning who will come out unscathed?

Five years have passed since the vanishing cabinet was opened and Dumbledore's demise plunged the wizarding world into chaos. The war against Voldemort rages on, with no sign of abating. Arla Black, the Order's top general, commands crucial rescue missions and strategical strikes against the dark forces. But despite her formidable prowess, she struggles with the ghosts of her past, especially the friends she left behind all those years ago. When a mission to destroy a horcrux goes disastrously wrong, Arla's world is thrown into turmoil once more... I had never planned to write a second book, especially not a sequel... But I have been immensely inspired by the great works of SenLinYu, Emerald Slytherin and Sarah J Maas. My writing development over the last year has been truly inspired by them, as has this book. You may notice minor aspects from them, so I guess you could say I wrote something that combined all of the books and ideas that I loved! However, this is still a completely its own with a nod of appreciation to the amazing storylines, characters and world building that these authors have created. And of course, a massive thank you to all of my readers that have kept me going and encouraged me to keep creating. Consider this book my gift of thanks - A. Oh! And if you haven't read In His Grasp, I suggest you do so before you jump into this one...
