Simona and her two sisters, Adaline, and Elba are on the brink of poverty. Her older sister Adaline married young to support the family, but that hasn't worked. Ambitious Simona saw an opportunity to go to a nearby country for paid training. Simona wanted the chance to work to gain physical strength and to have more than her limited lifestyle. She takes a male disguise called Simon. She is relentlessly bullied during the paid training. She goes out in public as Simona and is caught reading by the queen herself. Simona gets the job of a lifetime to teach the ladies in waiting to read. She makes friends who like witchcraft and she is living a great life. Little did Simona know that the queen's son, August was in the paid training and can immediately recognize her. He was one of the many men who tormented her. Problems between the two immediately unfold. Eventually more comes to their relationship. But how much longer will it all last?
