Hawkins, Indiana.
Known to few to far people in-between, and even more so hated to those who happen to have the displeasure of living there.
It's a small-ish, quaint little town. Not much to really talk about unless you're talking about the towns youth.
If there was ever a more diverse rowdy bunch, it would be the teenagers of Hawkins Indiana. There was always the jocks, the cheerleaders.. the youth group bunch. Theatre geeks, and then some. But there was always a small, selective group of kids that LOVED some weird game called Dungeons & Dragons.
Eloise Faye Hemmington was born in Hawkins, Indiana. Her parents, Eric and Anna, were a model couple in the town. Worked hard, and made a modest and like-able lifestyle for their children.
Eddie Munson was also born and raised in Hawkins, Indiana. His parents though were not the same as Eloise. His loved drugs, sex, and rock n roll. At a young age he was taken away from his parents and placed in the care of his uncle, Wayne Munson, who loved Eddie as best as he could and treated Eloise as his own daughter.
This story tells of what happens of the young teens, after one moves away to move back. What happens to the once star crossed lovers?
(revamp of a steddie book i scrapped)
An idiot. That's all Steve Harrington was. A cold, hard idiot. All because he fell for a freak who went by the name of Eddie Munson.
Life hadn't been easy with Vecna running loose all around Hawkins, mustering people up to believe it was, in fact, Eddie Munson killing teens like Fred, Chrissy, and even that basketball player Patrick. So when a group of four set out on a boat headed straight to the middle of Lovers' Lake at midnight, they slowly reel in what's about to happen when they discover an underwater gate to the upside down. A place Steve hadn't dreamt of going to since he was put face to face with a creature from their inner-dimension just last July.
But as the situation unfolds, Eddie and Steve find themselves growing closer and closer together with each passing moment of their adventure to save Hawkins, and something more than a friendship blooms before them.
A story full of repressed feelings, lust, and a hell lot of homos.
