after the byers moving to lenora and deciding the distance was too much for him and el, mike struggled with finding a way to pass the time between hellfire and school he decided to pick up guitar with eddie on the weekends and was offered a position to to play bass alongside gareth in their band corroded coffin with a concert coming up the same week that will and his family plan on coming back for the summer

He meets a boy who smokes, but attempts to give him a chance. Maybe smokers aren't all that bad. - Mike wheeler loves smoking. He feels comfort too it, and wants his friends to get into it too. He meets a boy on the first day of Highschool. The boy asks him to help him hook up his sister and her best friend, but mike couldn't help but attempt to get him into smoking.
