The first time he meets Viktor is during his trial as a questioner, and later . . . as his closest colleague. The ambassador of Lamia befriends the mysterious royal doctor and a series of events unleashes an unlikely romance between them.

However, Viktor's past is the real test of their love. Blinded, Josiah will follow Viktor until the very end, no matter where it leads, and Viktor shall carry the weight of leading Josiah so far down, he can't get him out of his mess anymore.
