'70s rock music, drugs, and the schools hottest boys on her hip were not the things Frankie Grey thought she'd encounter when she moved schools. When Frankie meets her very first best friend, the beautiful and careless Foster Goodpastor, she's pushed out of her comfort zone. Her whole high school experience is build up into its climax just to be knocked down in a matter of 5 months.
A song that would be on Fosters playlist is going to be in the media section. So, basically the books playlist. All songs belong to the original artist, and own none of them.
I'm currently editing what I have of this story and making it better. Some in unimportant characters are gonna be taken out and foster is gonna be adjusted to how I originally planned it to be.

Meadow was sent to finish her Senior year in a small town with her Aunt Tilly and Uncle Martin because her mother can't deal with her and her depression any longer. That is, until he meets the new girl who immediately draws his attention and makes him instantly intrigued. It's hard for him to trust anyone other than his close friends and she doesn't trust anybody, including guys. Can they help each other out? Can he help save her from herself? Okay, sorry for the crappy description but for now it will have to do and I hope you all give this story a chance. Mikayla is very unique, and like Jay, she doesn't seem to fit in with her contemporaries. Instead, the two of them keep each other company, and their friendship very quickly escalates into a romantic and intimate relationship. Despite having Mikayla, Jay's troubles continue to burden him. He and Mikayla are fighting habitually, his home life is still unbearable, and his time at school is hardly any better, made worse by a bully named Calvin. Their mutual dislike of one another leads to a lot of hostility, routinely leading to Jay being sent to his school's principal. One confrontation in particular goes much too far, resulting in Jay's expulsion from school.
