Opalescent Rose never had an easy life. She was put into foster care after her mom passed away. Her Foster Father can be described in one word, a drunk. When she came to live with him, he didn't want anything to do with her. She was simply there so he could get paid. She was thrown into a cruel world of abuse and neglect. When summer finally ended, Opal was relieved she wouldn't have to spend entire days with her foster father. On the first day of school, she met a a boy named Sterling. She found him to be very intimidating. Little did she know he was destined to be her savior.
Sterling Stone, the mysterious bad boy of the school. He did what he wanted, when he wanted. After meeting a certain girl, he was intrigued. Opal, just her name made him heat up inside. Undeniably beautiful and innocent, he's determined to make her his, but as her learns more about her, he realizes just how innocent she is, and just how hard her life is. As he befriends her, he falls in love with everything about her. They way she speaks, how she's kind, even how she spends her time in the forest, reading or picking flowers. Little did he know she was his savior as well, and she loved him as much as he loved her.
