Leaving plenty to a promise of plenty, failing to realize that a promise is a firm assurance and assurance is a firm declaration which is all just words, and as they say, words are 'sweet nothings' that once spoken cannot be reversed and its consequences which are always backed by actions will always leave us with a story to tell. Talia forsakes her bright future for a brighter one or so she thought, she finds true comfort and love which to her are pointers that she is on the right path. But being transported on the dark deck of a ship, cramped like a sardine for days with dead bodies under hard conditions of no water and food makes her rethink her options. Indeed not all that glitters is gold. N: B: This is a story of some African youths who decide to take the other road in search of greener pastures.
