Reece, a - gay - thief who loves his job. Not that he gets paid to steal. Of course not. He just loves his job 'cause of the adrenalin it gives him. He has stolen many things, many important things too. Most of the time people don't even realise a thing is stolen until it's gone. However, this isn't every time. When he tries to steal something again, guards have been waiting for him. This can only end up one way: him in prison.
Enter William Adkins, the Prince of Oplea. A Knight too. He was just enjoying his food and not even an hour later, he was suddenly guarding a well wanted thief.
But, he never thought that he'd have to interact with this thief. Until he got assigned a quest. Together with that thief.

"Anyone who wants to save this guy?" The executioner asks the crowd. Will feels panic coming up as he sees Reece - his Reece - sit there, moments away from his death. "No? So be it." The executioner shrugs.
"Wait!" Before Will knows it, he has raised his shaky hands into the air. "I forbid him! I forbid him!"
The executioner looks at him as if he just saw someone stand up from the dead. "What?"
Will sees a platform close to the scaffold and climbs onto it. Some men help him, enjoying this sudden plot twist. "I forbid him." Will said sternly. "I'll marry him." He sees Reece shake his head, however, he pays zero attention to it.
He will save him.
Even if it means that he has to marry him.
So be it.
