Living with a single parent who never once in the time you've known them ever appreciates anything you do is hard.
Lowering your confidence and self esteem 24/7 is not easy as the only thing you long and wish for is to be loved and never looked down onto.
But as always, nothing comes without a price. You have to let go before you catch or otherwise, it's bound to become too much to handle all at once and on your own.
No storm doesn't come to an end but the main question is how well prepared are you for what's to come?
Life, is indeed a roller coaster of experiences and various emotions and all together make a story and this is how mine goes.

Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge.
