Left at a monastery shortly after her birth, Bee lives atop the Estadosian mountains in the Shuni temple worshipping the sun god. After a traveling merchant sells her the most cliche romance novel, featuring a saucy elf bard who gets unwillingly seduced by a stealthy snake man, Bee feels she must find her own Yuan-ti to love. Leaving her home, and then shortly after arriving in the port town of Waterdeep, she makes fast friends with a half-orc sex worker named Ivan. Charmed by Bee's dedication to pursue her fetishes, Ivan invites her to the temple of Kiros, god of love and temptation, where they schedule a meeting.
