You and Steve "The Hair" Harrington have been best friends since middle school. You always had a painfully obvious crush on him but he appeared entirely oblivious to it. Meeting him at a time when boys didn't dare touch girls in fear of catching the cooties blew your chances of ever being with him in your mind. Ever since then, Steve has always been overly protective of you. Seemingly like a brother would...or so you thought. A lot changes your senior year of high school when you attempt to distance yourself from Steve as to avoid your feelings from getting hurt.
(This story takes place in a Stranger Things universe where there are no stranger things lol)
