"Do you believe that our future is set in stone?" Christopher asked. 

She tore her gaze away from the fire that was warming the room up and at him. "That's a...random question. What do you mean? Like it's premeditated?"

"Yes." He rubbed his hands together nervously causing her to raise an eyebrow. 

"I believe that we can alter our future slightly. Humans are prone to change, to growing. I don't see how that wouldn't affect our ability to change what happens to us." She paused noting the pale, panicked look on his face. "Is everything okay?"

He had to tell her. He had to make the words come out of his mouth. He just didn't know how.

He grabbed her arms and pulled her close, saying, "I said stop calling me that". She said angrily looking into his eyes, "Does it feel bad? I felt the same way when I found out the truth. Kabir was talking on the phone, looking at a girl's photo, saying that she is going to be your bride. I trusted you, so I thought it was a misunderstanding. That's why I came to your office to talk to you. Instead of clearing up the misunderstanding, the truth became apparent to me. I saw you with the same girl Kabir was talking about". Vansh confusingly," Kabir?". She nodded and said," yes kabir". He said, "listen, just believe me...it's just a misunderstanding I don't know who she is and I am not getting married, neither to her nor to anyone else". She said," you listen to me...If you want to get married, go ahead. I won't stop you. I don't want to be a thorn in your life. You can marry whomever you want, I won't interfere." His grip tightened on her arm and pulled her closer and said, "I'm not marrying anyone, and if I do, it will be only when I want and You will be my bride, and only you."

Krall insists that Captain Kirk returns the stolen device that Kirk had taken to restore peace with another race, but Kirk thinks otherwise. He still needed it. Krall takes the whole crew, leaving Kirk, Krystine, Spock, Bones, Chekov, and Scotty stranded and needing to find them and figure out how to get off the planet. Will the six of them be able to do it? Or will Krall get in their way?
