"Do you believe that our future is set in stone?" Christopher asked.

She tore her gaze away from the fire that was warming the room up and at him. "That's a...random question. What do you mean? Like it's premeditated?"

"Yes." He rubbed his hands together nervously causing her to raise an eyebrow.

"I believe that we can alter our future slightly. Humans are prone to change, to growing. I don't see how that wouldn't affect our ability to change what happens to us." She paused noting the pale, panicked look on his face. "Is everything okay?"

He had to tell her. He had to make the words come out of his mouth. He just didn't know how.

[NOTE: ICY HAD COMPLETED THE HEAVY EDITING CREAM, PLEASE INFORM ME IF THERE'S STILL ANY MISTAKE. THANKS] Lynx Farren had always acted base on her impulse instead of her logic, mostly leading to the worst out of the worse decision a human can make in any circumstances that she gets, even to the most trivial things. She didn't exactly has a sweet little mouth for no reason either, contradictory to her childish trait. She now worked in a tiny office due to an unfortunate 'small' event that causes a huge effect on her careers path. One day, she met this hot guy on a blind date and happens to meet him a few more times randomly here and there. ~~~ "Baby.. I can't believe it's you." I touched his biceps. Ouch, they were thicc. "I still couldn't get over you. Please, let me explain. It was a misunderstanding. It really was. Give me a chance." I pleaded emotionally. I know I'm a great actress but right now I only need one more thing. Get out tears, get the fucking out, please. "Excuse me?" His eyebrows quirked. "Oh, it must've been hard for you. It was too much. I know, I know it's still a traumatic event for you. But calm down, please, let me explain." He opened his mouth, and nah. Before he could utter any word, I proceeded with my monologue drama. "Okay, what about we talked about it at your place? Where we first kissed, spend the night, making love, all of our memories of love were held." Finally! There, slided my masterpiece, my crystal clear crocodile friggin tears. I drew back my hand. ~~~ Note: It's all about the progress. Tristan is a Quiz Bowl star. Vyrsa is from the stars. But is their interstellar romance written in the stars? *** Following a successful heist on a rival planet, Princess Vyrsa just needs to step through the Portal of Wishes to be brought straight back to her home planet Isola. But when Vyrsa steps through the portal, she finds herself on Earth, a primitive planet in a forgotten corner of the universe, with no means to return home. After having spent the night studying for an upcoming Astronomy test, galaxies, planets, and asteroids are on Tristan Conway's mind as he drifts into dreams. So he's unfazed when a strange glittering woman suddenly appears in his dorm room, convinced she's nothing but a figment of his imagination. When he finds her in his kitchen the next morning, eating his textbooks and befriending his cat, he's not so sure anymore. With no fancy alien tech at her disposal, Vyrsa will need Tristan's help to return to her faraway home planet. Ecstatic to be part of a plot reminiscent of the space movies he loves, Tristan throws himself wholeheartedly into the mission. After studies of possible fuel sources turn into Netflix binging beside her endearing host, Vyrsa's resolve to leave weakens. Maybe she'll just stay with Tristan a little bit longer... Surely nothing bad could come from it? Unless the owners of the artifact she stole figure out where she went and decides to obliterate the whole planet where she's hiding just to punish her, of course. *** This is an ONC Novella using prompt #18: You step through a magical portal thinking it's the way back home, but what you find isn't what you expected. This story is completed.

This Bones fanfiction is set after the third season. Sweet's explained, “That’s a little exercise, if you will, that I like to call The Truth is Out There.” Booth chuckled. “That explains a lot about you, Sweets!” He turned to his partner. “He's a X-Files shipper.” “You ship sex files?” she asked, lost. “What’s that mean?” Booth laughed even louder. Mind in the gutter, much? “Not sex files. The X-Files. The TV show. Mulder and Scully.” Those names sounded familiar to her. “Do I have to watch this show? I think you’ve mentioned those names before.” “Ask Hodgins. He probably have the dvds somewhere.” “Why? What’s it about?” Brennan asked. Booth said, “Aliens. Conspiracies...” But Sweets said, “FBI guy, female doctor, partners fighting crime and falling in love.” The silence that set in, even Brennan would have qualified it as ‘heavy’. Even though you can’t weight silence. “Remember the questionnaire you took when you first started therapy?” Sweets finally said. Oh. My. God. “I’m giving them back to you. I want you to...” “Destroy them?” Booth mumbled. “No.” “Frame them?” he suggested. “Are they graded?” Brennan said to make Booth laugh. "Good one!" he said, high fiving her. She loved making him laugh. “I want you, as a last assignment, to share your answers with the other.” Booth hugged the file tightly on his chest. “You can’t make us to that,” he refused. “That’s personal.” “And that’s exactly why you should share.” “You know,” Booth said, “he would never know if we shared or not. We don’t have to...” Curiosity probably was a sin. But she wasn’t catholic. “Does agent Booth have a body in his dresser?” Booth frowned, repeated the words to himself, then his clear laugh filled the elevator. She smiled.

Contains a series of oneshots. One differ from the other. Part 24 - Stressed Out "Hello," she barely heard her brother and felt his hands waving in front of her face since she was so entranced to the pettiness of her own mind. "Earth to Jaycee?" "Yeah, I'm right back down," she mumbled. "Where were you flying out to?" Andrew asked playfully, and she almost groaned at his decision to make fun of her than letting it go and changing the subject. "Cloud nine?" She blushed. "I wish." "Five?" He guessed. "I'd say around one and a half, 'cause it wasn't good at all," she answered it dejectively, but still being honest. "Wow, sad," Andrew responded with sympathy. "You gotta stop reading those sappy romance novels and start looking for your own instead, you know. I'm almost worried." -- Jayce was out, supposedly as the chaperone for her younger twin's date night with the girl's supposedly overprotective older brother, and she's been so stressed out she didn't realize the disaster that was about to come. She should've just believed her guts. And, God, didn't her twelve years experience teach her anything?! -- "We should probably just watch the movie," he suggested. "I can't," she replied softly, "I'm too embarassed to be able to focus on anything other than dying out of embarassment." "Nobody died out of embarassment." She nodded, but still didn't remove her hands. She countered lamely, "I know, it's just my cloud three." "You really are something else."
