Amber Routledge loved summer and that wasn't because she lived on the Outer Banks. Amber is John B's little sister and 9 months ago there farther left and still hasn't returned. They say he got lost at sea and that he is long gone now. But to John B there farther is still out there.

Amber is still trying to find out she herself  believes what happened.


What happens when the Pogues find a sunken boat and how it's the start of everything. And what also happens when  her eyes land on a younger Thornton. 

Grayson Thornton a guy she never knew she would see on her side of the island.
