ANGELS SMOKING CIGARETTES is an intriguing and twisted story filled with questionable people doing horrible things.
Nobody loved Charlotte until she got herself emancipated and started modeling in New York City. She quickly came to know the creepy, abusive men of power in the modeling world, including photographer Dodo. Charlotte and her friends, Chiara, Ecstasy, Jubilee, and Viola all suffer the way pretty girls do. And then there's Henry, the perfect guy who Charlotte just can't get it right with. She is stuck in a pattern of unhealthy coping, when her friends suddenly want to change. She is terrified of losing them, but can't bring herself to face reality.
The abuse becomes too much and the friends jokingly make a plan to kill the abusive photographer Dodo. Only they weren't necessarily joking.
