Highest: Scifi: #153 200 years in the future many things have remained the same socially, but now a new 'problem' has risen. They are called the irises. People born with the eyes that resemble an animals. Most have disappeared the moment they are born- but others live among us. A young boy named Issac was the first case of the irises. He had big, yellow, owl like eyes. He disappeared and was declared dead as an infant. The scientists responsible for the disappearances ran tests on every child that found a way into their hands for twenty years. Then- it stopped. For five years there were no disappearances-no irises born. For five years every child had human eyes. But, children were still always checked to be sure. Aaron was born after the five years. Her eyes were a feline blue. But- she did not disappear. She was not taken. Aaron only knew her family-nothing else. Not for a time. Series book names: Book 1- *TRIGGER WARNING*** DEATH****

. Three years. It had been three years since he'd been taken, experimented on, had his DNA altered and became a freak of nature. He knew because he'd managed to peek at the computer when they dragged him into that dreaded room; the one they used to prod, poke and inject him with god-knows-what. He was considered their only success - meaning their illegal tests hadn't killed him or rendered him paralysed, or worse; brain dead. He was subject 254. And he was the only survivor. At least until she - subject 391 - moved into the cell next door. - - 18th June 2018 - Rank 1 #sciencefiction 17th May 2019 - Rank 4 #romance 22nd Feb 2019 - Rank 1 #superpowers -- ** NOW COMPLETED**
