This is a story about two men with entirely different jobs, but neither is aware of the other's actual occupation. Although one had figured it out, but what would happen if the other knew about the dangerous man accompanying him? One man works as a sniper, and the other as a photographer, need I say more?

Just an interesting prompt, that I wanted to give my own spin on ~

。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。

The boys don't have names yet, so 'sniper' and 'photographer' will be capitalized as if they were their names. This story will be written in a narrators pov but focusing on the Sniper, if requested I can always make one for the Photographer or just two full povs for both characters :) and please excuse any potential grammar mistakes. I'm always open to advice on my writing and just anything in between.

Hope you enjoy this as much as I do. Stay tuned. 🫶🏽

Amelia Landing a position as lead photographer for the Griffins is a dream come true. Capturing every intense game, every unforgettable moment on the ice-this is everything I've worked for. After everything I've been through, this job is supposed to be my sanctuary, a place where I can keep a safe distance from anyone who might get too close. Besides, with the no-fraternization clause, there's no danger of crossing any lines...or there shouldn't be. But then there's him-the star defenseman, with that easy smile and hopeless romantic heart. He doesn't know my past, and he can't understand why I can't risk letting him in. He's a complication I didn't ask for, a temptation I can't afford. But part of me wonders what it might feel like to believe in someone again...if only I dared. Logan After getting burned once, I told myself I wouldn't go all in again. Love was supposed to come easy to me-the happy-go-lucky defenseman who can make friends with anyone. But the last time I let someone in, it ended with a bruise I'm still healing from. So yeah, I told myself to keep things simple...until she showed up. She's standoffish, always keeping me at arm's length with this hard look that says, "Stay away." And yet, I catch glimpses of something softer, something she's trying so hard to hide. The more she pushes me away, the more I want to know her, to show her she doesn't have to stay guarded forever. Maybe that's a risk worth taking...if only she'd give me the chance.

The second I saw him I just knew my world was going to be turned upside-down. There was no way I was making it out of this bar without him by my side. But, he surprised me by not being a like every other guy I have ever met. His sky blue eyes pulled me in, that lip ring he's always messing with made my insides squeeze. When I found out what his career was I was crushed. Where does this leave me? I've seen my fair share of everything being an SEAL, the best sniper in at least the US. Now I'm an undercover Hitman working for a backdoor of the government. Nobody knows my name. I don't have room for distractions. One distraction, people die. Her candy apple green eyes were unlike any thing I have ever seen, and that's saying a lot. The things this woman did to me with just one look made me want to walk away from the one thing I loved the most. Worst thing, I can't tell her anything about the strides I've made in my career, yet she's the only one I want to know everything. That makes any chance of us dangerous.
