Nova is a recent law school graduate, clinging to her dream of becoming a sports lawyer through an internship with New York City's NHL team, hoping she can land a full time position. One problem though, the captain of the hockey team is someone she knows, but not in a good way. He broke her trust so completely that she's had a hard time returning to who she once was before him. She never wanted to see him again, but that would mean walking away from her dream, and she's too determined to let him get in her way. While she struggles to keep him at arm's length, he's determined to be there for her through one of the hardest times in her life. Declan used to be a notorious player in college until there was one girl that stayed at the forefront of his thoughts. Now as captain of his hockey team in the NHL, he hasn't seen or heard from her in years. Until she shows up as the new law intern for his team. He knows how he treated her years ago was terrible and wants to do his best to rectify their relationship and gain back her trust. The problem is Nova wants absolutely nothing to do with him, but Declan is too determined to let her walk away this time after feeling like this is his second and last chance with her. While she continues to push him away, he is resolved to show her that he is going to be a constant in her life that she can count on. While both Declan and Nova are suddenly forced back into each other's lives, they can't help but reminisce on what used to be between them, and recall where everything went wrong.

[18+] COLLEGE ICE HOCKEY ROMANCE *~*~* Conrad Taylor is an asshole - everyone knows that. But when you're the star player of the hockey team, your father is one of the richest men in the country, and you have the looks of a tortured fallen angel, not many people seem to care. He certainly doesn't, not when he's too busy riding around with a visible chip on his shoulder. And boy, are they nice shoulders. *~*~* Sophie Pritchett craves normalcy after a lifetime of self-imposed isolation. With her dad's support and her therapist's gentle encouragement, she finally feels ready to step out into the world - or at least into a shared off-campus apartment with a few strangers. Tentatively, of course. Totally doable, right? Only it's not that easy. The girls aren't for the faint-hearted, and that's exactly what Sophie is. Her struggles with personal boundaries and social settings make it more than obvious that she's weird - and that's not including her strange obsession. When the hockey team starts volunteering at the hospital where Sophie teaches art therapy, she suddenly has the perfect excuse to feed that obsession - one that just happens to have Conrad Taylor written all over it. But when an unlikely friendship begins to form between Sophie, Conrad, and Casey - a witty little boy who's been dealt an unfair hand in life - Sophie learns there's a lot more hidden beneath the rude, sarcastic, and cold exterior of Conrad. Maybe he's just a broken little boy with a heart that feels too much. *~*~* Grumpy/Sunshine - Bad boy/Good girl - hates everyone except her Romance with a Brooke Bennett spin on it😜 Book 2 in the Campus Kings Series, but can be read as a STAND-ALONE. Mature 18+ (Language, content, all that good stuff) Enough character development to turn the devil back into an angel. New chapters every Wednesday and Sunday. *Big Fat Smooch* Good to see you again, my lovelies.
